Happy Memorial Day!

The 'rents came for Memorial Day weekend. Every spring they come to help me get my little "yard" ready for summer. This year we added a lovely garden. I am now the proud owner of 2 tomato plants! I am sooooo excited. Unfortunately, my history is not very promising with any sort of plants. So, I am going to give it a go. I am also going to add my usual herbs: rosemary, basil, and cilantro. My chives and mint are still living, so that is encouraging. Plus, there are several plants that came back. What surprises!!!! Wish me luck!

A day we've waited for...

Ollie graduated from Old Dominion University on Saturday. He has been in and out of school for awhile and finally received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in International Business and a minor in Japanese. I am so proud of him. I will give you 3 guesses to which graduate is Ollie in the above picture. Does the smiley face look familiar?

Proud sister and brother-in-law

Proud parents

Proud girlfriend

The night before graduation...

To kick off the weekend, Pattee, Rob, and I took Ollie to Kanpai to celebrate his long awaited graduation. Lo and behold, Bobby was there for a 'snack' so we sat with him. Anyways, we had a great time filling up on sushi. Afterwards, we headed to my house for banana splits and karaoke. Let's just put it this way, if you had seen us singing, you probably would have thought we were off our rockers. Good times!!! To add value to the night, we prayed for Ollie as he embarks in this new season agreeing for prosperity and success in his future. Thank the LORD for faithfilled friends!
